4 month check up

Joel went in for his 4 month shots Thursday! He is now 17 lbs and 25 and a half inches long what a big boy!

We were feeding Joel his rice cereal last night and I went to put it into his mouth and he took the spoon from me. He then shoved it in his mouth and fed himself (I think that he is trying to grow up a little to fast)! But it sure did make a cute picture.

Okay so I have to say it is funny watching a baby eat from a spoon the very first time, mainly because they don't know what the heck they are doing.

Christmas 2007

Grades

Okay so grades have been posted for this past semester of school for Paul and he did AWESOME! He took a total of 8 classes and received 3 A's and 5 B's. I am so very proud of him, and impressed! It cannot be easy have a full-time school schedual, work, and find some time to spend with Joel and I!

Well up at the school there is a pool and we took Joel swimming for the first time. It took him a minute to get used to the water, but as soon as he realized it wasn't that bad he was happy!

Ready For Christmas

YEA! Christmas is 5 days away!!! Everyone do not forgot the true meaning of Christmas!

Snow Day

Well it has been snowing here all week and I think it is here to stay for the whole winter (because it is really cold here like single digits). Joel seems to like it when we take him outside during the day his eyes get all big!

Bowling

Paul had his work party the other night and well the last two years it has been a big dinner and a night of bowling. (I like the fact that we don't have to pay for anything!) Anyway this was Joel's first time to the bowling alley and I have to tell you I think he liked it he couldn't take his eyes of the alley!

Joel was so stinking tired and well we were trying to keep him awake so that he would go to bed when we wanted him to. Obviously he was way to tired!

13 Weeks

At our church party the other night Santa was there so we got Joel his first picture with Santa! (And as you can see he is wearing his little outfit with Santa on it).

Okay for all those who knew or had met my Dad you probably saw him make this face at some point. I tried to find one of him making the same face but was not able to. You can see the resemblance that Joel has to his Grandpa Pritchard.

Sleeping

Alright so he will sleep in his crib during the day, but at night if you put him down in the crib he wakes up instantly. So now I guess I need tips on how to get him sleep in there at night!

Question for the Mother's

Alright so Joel has been sleeping pretty well the only thing is that he will not sleep in his crib! We are not sure why he does not like it. The main place he will sleep is in his car seat so we put a fleece blanket in there and lay him on that and then of course put a 2 blankets on him (and put the blankets under his arms so he can't throw the blanket on his face). Anyway are there any tips on getting him to sleep in his crib? If you can leave a comment do that, or you can email do whatever is easiest! Thanks!!

We are working on getting Joel's neck stronger so that he will hold his head up fully. He is pretty funny when he is on his stomach, well to us he is funny!
